Our pack school is held annually each year at the Garfield County Fairgrounds in Pomeroy, Washington. The 2007 class will be held Saturday, April 28th.  This class is limited to 10 students in order to provide the most hands on experience for you, so don't delay!  We'll provide lunch!

Whether you are a beginner or experienced packer, come to this school for hands-on learning.

 You will learn all the basics like splicing ropes, tying hitches, making up balanced loads, where to pack the dish soap and lantern fuel!  We will mantie hay bales, grain, boxes, duffels and camp gear.  Panniers will be used on both Decker and sawbuck saddles.   Quick repair of equipment and adjustments on the trail will be demonstrated.  We'll discuss campsite selection and handling stock in camp.   Low impact livestock use in the wilderness will be covered.  You will leave excited ready to put your outfit on the trail!
